SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 YORK ITV RACING TIPS: This has been a good race for the William Haggas yard in recent years – winning the last two runnings. They are back again with two runners – Tasman Bay and La Yakel – and it’s the last-named of that pair that stands out. He was last seen running a fine 4th in the Rowley Cup at Newmarket last October, but before that had won twice at Southwell and Ascot. The break would have done him good and with just 5 career runs will have more to come. Tom Marquand, who has ridden the last two winners of the race, also rides.
The Stoute runner Real Dream and CD winner Forza Orta can do best of the rest.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 YORK ITV RACING TIPS: 22 runners here so cases can be made for several. However, this could be another for the William Haggas yard with Khanjar looking interesting. This 4 year-old has won 3 of his 8 starts to date and despite running below-par the last twice has been freshened up over the winter and in his short career has been a horse that’s gone well fresh – winning first time out last term after 285 days off.
Last year’s winner Dakota Gold, despite being on a higher mark and also the 2019 hero Soldier’s Minute with a low weight are also respected as two past winners of the prize.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 YORK ITV RACING TIPS: A really good renewal of this Group 2 and we can expect to see most of the leading players running in the big sprint races through the season. Last year’s winner Highfield Princess can go well, while Godolphin’s Creative Force and the Aussie raider Astrologist should also be in the mix. But a chance is taken with the Karl Burke runner Marshman as this useful 3 year-old gets a fair bit of weight from the others. He’s won 3 of his 5 starts, including only last month when taking a Group 3 in France, plus has also tasted York in the past when a close second in the Gimcrack Stakes at a juvenile.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 YORK ITV RACING TIPS: The Stoute yard have won the Musidora Stakes three times in the last 20 years and could have another useful one on their hands here with Infinite Cosmos. This 3 year-old went into many a notebook last time out when winning easily at Newmarket on just her second start. She’s by Epsom Derby winner Sea The Stars, so has a top-notch pedigree and is already as short as 6/1 for the Oaks next month. Richard Kingscote rides.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 YORK ITV RACING TIPS: Another race with many chances, but the Hollie Doyle-ridden Onight is chanced. This 3 year-old has won his last two on the AW at Newcastle and Kempton, but the switch to the turf will be fine on good ground. Draw 5 is also a plus with 7 of the last 11 winners coming from stalls 4-7 and with those recent runs can be expected to be a bit more match-fit than some. Caragio and Chuzzlewit are others to note in the betting.
