Arsenal are leading the way for exciting youngster Xavi Simons but face a battle with European heavyweights Barcelona and Bayern Munich for his signature.

Currently on loan at RB Leipzig the 20-year-old has scored six goals and notched nine assists in Germany this campaign, with his form drawing interest from a host of top European clubs.
The versatile midfielder is also capable of playing across all three forward positions, as seen throughout his spell at PSV.
Simons signed for PSV from PSG on a five-year contract before the start of the 2022/23 campaign and went on to score 22 goals and pick up 12 assists in 48 appearances for the club across all competitions.
As a result of his fine form in Holland, PSG activated a buy-back clause in his contract and the 20-year-old rejoined the French champions before heading to RB Leipzig on loan for the season.
Which Clubs Are Interested In Xavi Simons?
Off the back of one win in seven games, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are currently the favourites for Simons’ signature.
The north London club have been struggling for firepower this season, with the Gunners currently sat in 4th in the Premier League table, five points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.
Elsewhere, Xavi’s Barcelona have been heavily linked with the Dutch wonderkid. Simons was part of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy from 2010-2019, so a return to the Catalan club could be on the cards.
Premier League sides Manchester United and Chelsea are also closely linked with the 20-year-old midfielder. With both teams struggling for creativity and goals this campaign, Simons could inject a much-needed attacking threat into both sides.
