As Wimbledon approaches the business end of the tournament this week, we have all the predictions and tips you need before the men’s semi-finals which take place this afternoon.

Wimbledon Tips Day 11

  • Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic: Djokovic to win in straight sets @ 6/5
  • Carlos Alcaraz vs Daniil Medvedev: Alcaraz to Win in straight sets @ 9/4

Both of our selections can be backed as a double, at odds of 6/1 with Paddy Power.

Wimbledon Tip Day 11 – Djokovic To Win In Straight Sets

It is no secret that Novak Djokovic is the king of Wimbledon right now, and the Serbian has looked as unstoppable as ever during this year’s tournament as he looks to retain his title for a fifth year in a row.

Djokovic has cruised through the opening rounds of the tournament and he has only dropped two sets so far on his way to the semi finals.

His opponent on Friday will be Jannik Sinner, who has impressed so far this year, with the eighth seed also dropping just two sets on his way to meeting Djokovic on day 11 of Wimbledon.

Despite Sinner’s impressive run to the final the Italian is still yet to meet a seeded player in the tournament, so we are backing Djokovic to win in straight sets as this year’s favourite moves one step closer to completing the five timer.

Wimbledon Tip Day 11 – Alcaraz To Win In Straight Sets

We are predicting straight sets all round in the men’s semi finals on Friday, as our second prediction for day 11 see’s the world number one Carlos Alcaraz advance to the final on Sunday afternoon in similar dominant fashion to Djokovic.

Alcaraz has taken the tennis world by storm this year and the 20-year-old easily saw off his quarter final opponent on Wednesday in straight sets, as he beat his childhood friend and sixth seed Holger Rune 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 in another dominant display.

The Spaniard will face tougher opposition in Daniil Medvedev on Centre Court this Friday, with the Russian currently ranked third in the world after Alcaraz and Djokovic.

However Alcaraz is aiming to become the third-youngest winner at Wimbledon since the Open Era began and he has a real shot of setting up a blockbuster final against the formidable Djokovic this weekend, so we think the Spaniard will look to get the game finished as fast as possible in order to get plenty of rest ahead of Sunday’s final.
