Arsenal’s Away Form

Arsenal’s away form last year saw them win 12 of their 19 Premier League games which included fine victories against the likes of Aston Villa, Brighton, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham. Their only defeats on the road came against Everton, Nottingham Forest and both Manchester sides.

All in all, The Gunners picked up a hugely impressive 39 points. With away form like that, it’s no wonder they went close to snaring Man City‘s title away from them when few out there would consider Mikel Arteta’s side as genuine contenders.

Since the start of last season, Arsenal have won more away games (17) and more away points (55) than any other Premier League side. Arsenal’s away form really shows how far they’ve come under Mikel Arteta since he took charge at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have the unenviable task of trying to win at Aston Villa on match week 16, who themselves have won their last 14 Premier League games on home soil. If the north Londoners do come away with all three points, with the best UK betting sites making Arteta’s side match favourites at 11/10, then there brilliant away form can go a long way into propelling them to 2023/24 Premier League glory.
