According to UK betting sites, Wilfried Zaha could be leaving Crystal Palace with a move to Saudi Arabia being most likely.

Crystal Palace appointed Roy Hodgson in hopes of surviving in the Premier League, with the 75-year-old returning for his second spell at the club. His first reign spanned over four years, being sacked in 2021 after a run of poor performances.

One man that will be vital in Palace’s push for survival is Wilfried Zaha, the Ivorian has scored 89 goals for his boyhood club, with six of them coming this season despite injury problems.

Unfortunately for Eagles fans, their talisman suffered yet another injury in Palace’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City. The former Manchester United player pulled up before half time in an encounter with Foxes defender, Timothy Castange on the edge of the box.

Palace’s new boss gave his thoughts on the injury to his captain and confirmed the uncertainty around the problem – worrying Crystal Palace supporters.

Hodgson said: “There is no update. The injury was a massive blow. All we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the very best because we don’t want to lose him for any length of time.  It’s a muscle strain. They can take anything from days to weeks or months. We will have to wait and see.”

With the Ivorian’s contract running out in the summer, his time at his boyhood club could be all but over. According to the bookies, a move to Saudi Arabia would be the most likely step in Zaha’s career.

One club that have showed reported interest, is Al-Nassr, which would give the Premier League star an opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the likes of Spurs and Aston Villa could also be keen on keeping him in England.
