Micah Richards let slip who his favourite pundit to work with is while chatting with Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer on The Rest is Football podcast.
Micah Richards Punditry Career
Having retired from professional football in 2019 following a string of injuries at Aston Villa, Micah Richards burst onto our screens as a pundit soon after.
In a still fledgling punditry career, Richards has worked for Sky Sports, BBC Sport covering Match of the Day and radio, and CBS Sports covering UEFA Champions League fixtures.

Who Is Richards’ Favourite Pundit To Work With?
Throughout his time on the media side of football, Richards has worked with the likes of Thierry Henry, Gary Neville, Alan Shearer and Roy Keane, among others, but who is his favourite co-pundit?
Speaking with Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards was asked about the potential rivalry between broadcasters.
Responding diplomatically, the former Manchester City defender said: “BBC is an analytical programme… you see the highlights of all the games,”
“Sky is live games. So, I see them as two different things.”
Richards continued: “It’s always hard because people always say to me what do you prefer BBC or Sky? I prefer them equally.”
However, things took a turn for the worse when Richards was asked who he prefers working with out of Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer or Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, to which Richards replied: “Roy Keane! Every day of the week.”
In response, the scorned Gary Lineker replied: “Well, f**k you!”
“I love you all the same,” Richards responded before Alan Shearer chimed in with: “The damage is done.”
Micah Richards and Roy Keane have shared a close relationship since the former England international joined Sky Sports as a pundit, with the two regularly winding each other up on our screens.
