Fantasy Premier League has entertained football enthusiasts for several years, as player performances accumulate points for each team – but which players have performed best in the 2023-24 season?
Which Premier League Player Has The Most FPL Points: Top 5
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa, 170 points)
The Aston Villa striker has been on fire for Unai Emery’s side this season, contributing to 24 goals in 26 Premier League matches (14G+10A).
This tally is already more than Watkins managed last season, as the England international contributed to 21 goals in 37 appearances.
So far, the 28-year-old has scored one hat-trick this season during a 6-1 win over Brighton in September, and he has currently been selected by 54% of users.
At £8.9m, Watkins ranks as the second most expensive forward available behind Erling Haaland (£14.4m) and has accumulated 21 bonus points.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal, 169 points)
Next on the list is Bukayo Saka, who has been criticised this season for failing to perform at the level he managed last year.
However, the Arsenal star has still contributed to 20 goals in 25 Premier League matches (13G+7A) and has scored seven goals in his last five league matches (as of GW26).
This recent form has seen his total points for the season so far skyrocket, and Saka has managed at least nine points since GW22.
Coming in at a price of £9.2m, the 22-year-old is the fourth most expensive midfielder on Fantasy Premier League – behind Mo Salah, Kevin De Bruyne and Heung-Min Son.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, 167 points)
Liverpool’s iconic talisman is once again a shrewd option for Fantasy Premier League users this season, accumulating 167 points so far.
In 21 Premier League appearances, the Egyptian has contributed to 24 goals (15G+9A) and is the leagues second highest scorer behind Erling Haaland.
While on duty for Egypt at the African Cup of Nations, Salah picked up a hamstring injury which has ruled him out of five league matches.
The former Chelsea player is the second most expensive player on the site at £13m and is only bettered by Erling Haaland (£14.4m).
With 23 bonus points, Salah leads the league in BP and is only joined by Bukayo Saka, who has also managed to total 23.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City, 146 points)
Making his way into the top five with 146 points is Manchester City star Erling Haaland, who has broken several records since moving to England.
The 2022-23 Premier League top scorer has missed five league matches due to injury but is still the top scorer with 17 goals in 21 appearances.
Haaland has also contributed with five assists and scored five goals in his only FA Cup match this season, netting five against Luton.
The Norwegian leads the FPL for selections, being used by 76% of users, which is 11% more than Bukayo Saka, who sits in second with 65%.
