After penalty drama in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup; fans will be wondering when the draw for the semi-final is.
When is the Carabao Cup semi-final draw?
There is one last quarter-final to be played with Liverpool taking on West Ham later this evening (20th December). After that game has ended, the draw will take place shortly after at around 10:45pm but this depends on when the match ends as penalties are a prospect.
It’s worth noting that the semi-final in the Carabao Cup is a two-legged affair with both teams playing home and away. As always, the final will be played at Wembley.
Where can I watch the draw?
Liverpool v West Ham will be broadcasted on Sky Sports Football with a 8pm kick-off. The semi-final draw will also be broadcasted after that game on Sky.
Who are the teams in the semi-final?
So far, Middlesborough, Chelsea and Fulham have all made it to the semi-finals. Middlesborough breezed past Port Vale in a convincing 3-0 win. However, things were more complicated for Chelsea and Fulham. Chelsea were minutes from heading out of the competition but Mykhailo Mudryk saved his club in the 92nd minute as he struck to level proceedings.
Thanks to goalkeeping heroics from Dorde Pertrovic, Chelsea advanced to the semi-finals; winning 4-2 on penalties.
Fulham faced a slightly different story. They were 1-0 up with less than ten minutes to go but Everton managed to find a late equaliser. Their shootout went on for longer but they advanced 7-6 on penalties.
The three teams will no doubt be tuning in tonight to see who they potentially could be paired with in the semi-final.
