Spurs failed to break into a European spot despite star man, Harry Kane, scoring 30 goals in the league and West Ham were in and amongst a relegation battle for large parts of the season.

Who Will Kick Off The Premier League Season?
The season will be begin on a Friday evening, as it has done for the last few seasons and newly promoted Burnley will face last season’s treble winners, Manchester City
Guardiola’s side will begin their Premier League title defence with a trip to Turf Moor, where City legend and former club captain Vincent Kompany will be hoping for a huge upset.
The links between both parties have expanded this summer as James Trafford, the hero of the England Under-21 European Championship winning campaign, swapped City for Burnley in a deal worth £15million.
Kompany’s side have been very busy this summer, signing Zeki Amdouni from Basel, Dara O’Shea from West Bromwich Albion, Nathan Redmond from Besiktas, and Jacob Bruun Larsen on loan from Hoffenheim.
On the other hand, the blue half of Manchester have signed just the two players, as Pep Guardiola adds Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea and Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig to his squad.
