The qualifying campaign for Euro 2024 concluded on Tuesday night with the final nations confirmed for the play-offs.
The likes of England, France and Spain have already booked their spots in the finals but there will be 12 teams who will get another chance to secure their place in Germany. Here at SportsLens, we’ll explain when the play-offs are and who will be competing in them.
When Are The Euro 2024 Play-Offs?
The draw for the 2024 European Championship play-offs will take place on Thursday November 23rd at The House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. This will take place from 11am UK time and the 12 teams will then find out their opponents and paths to the final.
The play-offs themselves will be staged in March 2024. The 12 teams competing will initially play a semi-final, with six of these overall. These play-off games are pencilled in for March 21st, 2024 and the six winners will progress to the play-offs finals. These three games will be played on March 26th, 2024, and the three victors will qualify for the 2024 European Championship.

Which Teams Are In The Euro 2024 Play-Offs
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Poland, Wales and Ukraine have secured a play-off berth for next year. Robert Page’s side have earned a home tie in the semi-final and will face one of Finland, Iceland or Ukraine.
If the Dragons can navigate their way past the semi-final, after their draw with Turkey on Tuesday confirmed their play-off spot, they will face either Estonia or Poland for a place at Euro 2024, with the home side to be determined by a draw.

Which Teams Have Already Qualified For The European Championship?
20 teams can already start making their plans for next summer alongside host nation Germany, who qualify automatically for the tournament. From the UK, England and Scotland have confirmed their spot with the latter making it back-to-back European Championship finals appearances.
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey are the other nations who will be joining them.
