The PDC Bahrain Masters gets underway today but a question many darts fans may be wondering is – what time does Luke Littler play? The 16-year-old has taken the darting scene by storm and he plays his first competition since being runner-up in the 2024 World Darts Championship.
What Time Does Luke Littler Play Today?
Luke Littler will kick off his Bahrain Masters campaign against Hong Kong representative Man Lok Leung at roughly 6:00pm. According to the best UK betting sites, Luke Littler is the heavy odds-on 1/7 favourite to get the job done in the first round.
The 16-year-old was speaking to the media ahead of his first appearance at the Bahrain Masters: “It’s back to business for me now,” he said. “I’ve chilled out and not really thrown many darts since the World Championship final, but I’m sure that once I’m in the practice room I’ll be alright.
“I like playing all the time but after the World Championship I wanted to get away, which me and the family did. Hopefully I can have a good event here to get back playing.”
Should Littler be able to beat Leung, then he could set up a quarter-final tie with reigning World Matchplay champion Nathan Aspinall.
However, his opponent on Thursday night should not be underestimated. Leung made it to the second round of the recent World Championships after beating hot talent Gian Van Veen in the first round whilst throwing 11 180s in five sets of play.
He wasn’t able to win his second game though, and was beat 3-1 by Germany’s Gabriel Clemens.
