West Ham are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan striker, Divock Origi, as the Belgian looks to leave Italy this summer.

The former Liverpool star has been linked with a return to England, with Crystal Palace, Leeds and West Ham all interested in the Belgian international.

The latter of the three clubs, West Ham, will be keen to sign a striker this summer and our set for a host of activity in the coming weeks.

David Moyes will be looking to strengthen his side after winning the Europa Conference League, which will see the side from east London compete in the Europa League next season.

European form was not an issue for the Scottish manager, as his side remained unbeaten during their run to the trophy. However, Premier League performances were far from this and finishing 15th may cause some concern for West Ham supporters.

The Belgian has 3 years remaining on his contract at the San Siro and a move to the London Stadium could cost up to £15m.

As well as expecting a host of additions, key players are set to depart this summer with Declan Rice expected to join Arsenal for a staggering £105m.

Rice will take the number 41 shirt for Arsenal – the same number he wore at West Ham, and will slot into the starting XI from the get-go. He will play alongside Martin Odegaard in the middle for definite, and potentially also Havertz in a deeper role than usual.

Additions can now commence as the Declan Rice transfer saga is now over and after two goals in 27 Serie A matches, Origi’s form may be a concern for West Ham supporters.

The Hammers have kicked off pre-season and are yet to make their first summer signing – however Moyes’ side beat Spurs 3-2.
