David Moyes has been offered a contract extension by West Ham, but he says he will wait until the summer to make a decision.
Why won’t Moyes make a decision yet?
Despite a bad run of form and a loss of confidence amongst fans, West Ham have offered an contract extension to Moyes. Details of the contract are currently unknown but Moyes has been speaking about it.
He said: “There’s a contract there for me. I’m the one who’s deciding at the moment that I want to wait, I want to wait until the end of the season.
“I want to make sure everything’s correct and that first and foremost we concentrate on this season and do the job. I’ve really enjoyed my four years here and one way or the other I’ll make sure I see my contract out.
“I’ve got to make sure that I think it’s the right thing for the club, got to make sure I think it’s the right thing for me and my family.
“At the moment, I’ve spoken to the board, I get on really well with them. I’ve had a fabulous four years. We’ve been talking about Europe and how you get to Europe in the first place is by being successful in the league. We’ll sort it out but I’m happy for it to wait.”
