West Ham head into the 2023/24 season with a weakened squad, having won the Europa Conference League last term.
Club captain Declan Rice has finally parted ways with the East London club, opting for a big-money move to fellow London club Arsenal.
Gianluca Scamacca has also departed in favour of a return to the Serie A with Atalanta, and the Hammers have failed to sign a single player.
But not only that, Lucas Paqueta is also reportedly pushing for a move away from the London Stadium with Manchester City preparing a £70million move for the Brazilian.
David Moyes’ side are close to signing Edson Alvarez, Harry Maguire, and James Ward-Prowse though, so there should be some incomings in the coming days.
They kick off their season with a trip to the Vitality Stadium where they will face Bournemouth, as they look to kickstart a new era without their former talisman.
