Mark Goldbridge has reacted in defiant fashion following Manchester United’s crucial 2-1 victory over Chelsea after a chaotic week for the Red Devils.

What Happened In The Manchester United Vs. Chelsea Game?

After a tough week in which reports surfaced of Erik ten Hag losing 50% of the dressing room, the Dutchman’s side faced a crucial Premier League test against an improved Chelsea outfit at Old Trafford.

Following an early missed penalty from Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United took the lead in the 19th minute through a tidy Scott McTominay finish.

Manchester United continued to pepper Robert Sanchez’s goal, but, on the stroke of half time Manchester-born and ex-Cityzen Cole Palmer was allowed to travel to the edge of the Manchester United box and slotted past the scrambling Andre Onana to level the scores.

After continuing to dominate in the second half and racking up a total of 28 attempts, per Sky Sports, United finally broke through in the 69th minute through another McTominay goal. Despite a late surge from Chelsea, that is how the scores stayed until full-time.

How Did Mark Goldbridge React Following Manchester United’s Victory Over Chelsea?

In the aftermath of the game, which saw United move within 3 points of Manchester rival City, Mark Goldbridge reacted in defiant mood.

Speaking on The United Stand YouTube channel, Goldbridge said: “You know what I’m gonna say. Ten Hag haters sit down. I tell you what, if that’s 50% of the dressing room against ten Hag, you’re talking s***.

“So, Sky Kaveh, Samuel Luckhurst, Manchester Evening News, your stories took one hell of a beating tonight because you’re talking s****.

“Because there is absolutely no way those players on the pitch tonight are not playing for that manager and not playing for this club.”

Goldbridge also praised Antony for his standout performance after the Brazilian called out ex-players and pundits in an interview with The United Stand.

Continuing, Goldbridge said: “And I tell you what, I can’t even begin to write the list of people that have been against Antony.

“All I’m going to say is Antony should do an interview with The United Stand every week because that was an answer.

“I’m just going to say this. When that interview was done, I looked at it and I was like bl**** hell! Calling out the media, calling out ex-players for not giving him any credit. True but very very brave.

“If you don’t play well, tonight, they will come for you double. People would have been waiting to jump on Antony tonight. And that is without doubt his best performance.”
