Manchester City fan and TikTok content creator Buvey has had his say on City’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa last night and insits they are ‘in crisis’.
Manchester City Vs. Aston Villa
After drawing three on the trot in the Premier League, Manchester City faced a daunting trip to Villa Park to face fellow Premier League high-flyers, Aston Villa.
Throughout the game, Aston Villa utterly dominated the Citizens accumulating 22 attempts to City’s 2 and 8 shots on target to City’s 2, according to BBC Sport.
Despite their dominance, it took Villa until the 74th minute to make the breakthrough after Leon Bailey’s deflected strike found it’s way past Ederson in goal. Watch the Aston Villa Vs. Manchester City highlights here.
Manchester City now languish in fourth place in the Premier League table, 6-points behind title rivals Arsenal and face an uphill battle to bridge the gap.

What Did Buvey Say About Manchester City’s Loss To Aston Villa?
Manchester City fan and Tiktok content creator Buvey, who co-hosts The Club alongside Adam Mckola and Rory Jennings shared his thoughts on City’s performance.
Posting to his TikTok account, Buvey said: “Man[chester] City are in crisis, that was absolutely pathetic.
“Manchester City should be going to Aston Villa and playing a lot better than that. Even without Rodri, even without Kevin De Bruyne.
“This is the side that won the treble and they’re struggling massively with a lack of energy, with a lack of focus, with a lack of any tactical understanding of how to run a midfield.”

Elaborating on Manchester City’s lack of midfield options, Buvey said: “This Manchester City midfield is constituted of a right-back who’s under the age of 20-years-old, a centre-back and a striker dropping in deep. Matheus Nunes isn’t trusted, Kalvin Phillips isn’t trusted, Ilkay Gundogan wasn’t given a contract extension, I think he should’ve been.
“How is Rodri the only midfielder that City can rely on in a football match? It’s absolutely ridiculous.
“But there has to be blame at Guardiola’s door. One of the great managers has not figured out the solution to what happens when Rodri isn’t there, when De Bruyne isn’t there.
“City have to sort it out going into the business end of the season, otherwise City will not be winning the Premier League.”
Manchester City’s next Premier League fixture is an away trip to relegation-threatended Luton, where they will be hoping to get their campaign back on track.
