Tottenham Hotspur have agreed personal terms with Leicester City star, James Maddison, as the England international looks set to leave this summer.
Leicester City will return to England’s second division for the first time in just under a decade, after the club finished 18th this season.
Despite the Foxes’ poor form, star man, James Maddison, was a stand-out performer throughout and contributed to 19 goals in 32 Premier League appearances.
The former Norwich City midfielder has established himself as one of the league’s best players and has earned a regular place in Gareth Southgate’s England side.
However, after the Foxes’ recent relegation, rumours over Maddison leaving the club this summer have started to circulate and has reportedly attracted interest from a host of Premier League sides.
According to reports, Spurs have agreed personal terms with the Leicester City midfielder and are now in negotiations with the Foxes over a fee.

The 2022-23 season was a difficult campaign for Spurs, as they finished outside the Premier League top seven for the first time in just under a decade.
Antonio Conte’s departure had a huge impact on the north London side, as his temporary replacement, Cristian Stellini was sacked after only a month at the helm.
Ryan Mason failed to improve proceedings and the club ended their long search for a permanent head coach by appointing Ange Postecoglou on a four-year deal.
Maddison would be the first-signing in Postecoglou’s reign and would revolutionise the midfield, with Rodrigo Bentancur returning from a long-term injury.
However, Spurs fans will be concerned as their star man, Harry Kane, is expected to leave the club this summer and the side from north London rejected a £70m from Bayern Munich earlier today.
