December is just around the corner which means the PDC World Darts Championship is near. Check out our top 10 hottest darts wives and girlfriends (WAGs) ahead of the tournament.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The 2023 PDC World Darts Championship is almost here and we can start to get excited about one of Christmas’ most entertaining spectacles.
The World Championship is a time for fancy dress, laughter and most importantly booze – but we’re here to rank the top 10 darts WAGs who will make appearances at Alexandra Palace.
Top 10 Darts WAGs
1. Sammi Marsh-Wade (Wife of James Wade)
Sammi Marsh married James Wade in 2015 after meeting two years prior, and the couple now have two kids – Arthur and Alfred.
She is a former PDC walk-on girl and glamour model. Marsh also works as her husband’s manager, who is bidding to win a World Darts Championship for the first time in 2023 after four semi-final finishes.
2. Kayley Jones (Girlfriend of Luke Humphries)
Kayley Jones, 28, is the partner of two-time major champion Luke Humphries – who is currently the bookmaker’s favourite to win the World Darts Championship this year.
Jones hails from Cheshire and shares two children with Humphries, a son Rowan and daughter Gracie. The pair have been together since their teenage years.
3. Sarah Lewis (Wife of Adrian Lewis)
Adrian Lewis married Sarah Podmore in 2012 and the couple share children together. They previously dated when they were much younger, and Lewis tied the knot with Sarah following her divorce from Mark Welch.
Lewis has been open about his wife’s health struggles in the past. In April 2016, the former world champion revealed he was ‘playing through heartache’ as his partner battled kidney problems.
He recently took an indefinite break from the sports to care for his wife, who has spent considerable time in hospital with health problems.
4. Daphne van Gerwen (Wife of Michael van Gerwen)
Michael van Gerwen met Daphne Govers in his native Netherlands and his wife is a former hairdresser. She is also a keen fan of the arrows and follows her husband around the world watching him play.
They married in 2014, the same year Michael won his first PDC World Championship. The couple have two children, a son and a daughter.
5. Bethan Price (Wife of Gerwyn Price)
Bethan Palmer and Gerwyn Price have been together since they were just 17, meeting in their hometown of Markham, Wakes.
The couple married in 2018 and they have two daughters together named Emily and Bethany.
6. Dana Verhaegen-Huybrechts (Wife of Kim Huybrechts)
Kim Huybrechts and wife Dana Verhaegen have been a staple couple in darts for over a decade, and Dana became the centre of attention during the 2011 World Championship.
Paul Nicholson crashed out of the tournament at the hands of Huybrechts, but the former stirred up some controversy by blaming Dana for his defeat.
“There’s a reason why I lost that game, and she’s right there,” he said, “If she wasn’t in that crowd, I swear to God, I would’ve won that game.”
Each time the TV cameras panned over to Verhaegen and she appeared on the big screens at Alexandra Palace, she drew wolf-whistling from fans inside the venue.
Huybrechts lost the opening four legs of the game but went on to produce a thrilling comeback, before thanking his now-wife for the motivation.
7. Enisa Suljovic (Wife of Mensur Suljovic)
Despite missing out on a spot in the 2023 World Championship, Mensur Suljovic’s wife Enisa is also a fan-favourite who will be dearly missed at Alexandra Palace this year.
Suljovic has mentioned before that his wife is not keen on the amount of time he spends away from their family home in Serbia, but that won’t be an issue this year as Mensur watches from the comfort of his living room sofa.
8. Julia Evans (Fiance of Raymond van Barneveld)
Raymond van Barneveld is engaged to British beauty Julia Evans, 37, and the Dutchman proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
Not much is known about Evans or her occupation, but she revealed she met Raymond at a darts tournament in Southampton and the rest is history.
“I want to grow old with him. I don’t rule out marriage. He is patient and sweet. I understand him and he me. I think we fit well together.”
9. Kirsty Wilson (Girlfriend of Nathan Aspinall)
Kirsty Wilson is Nathan Aspinall’s girlfriend, the two-time major champion who first found success in the UK Open in 2019 and followed it up with a World Matchplay title this year.
The pair have been together for over a decade and share two daughters, Brooke and Millie.
10. Rachel Anderson (Wife of Gary Anderson)
Gary Anderson married long-term partner Rachel Ford in January 2022, and they share two children together – a girl, Cheylea and a boy, Tai.
The couple married in secret and held a wedding reception for invited guests, who believed they were there to celebrate Gary’s birthday – before discovering the pair had tied the knot already.
