More Good News For Arsenal Fans – Gabriel Jesus Is Also Nearing a Return

The positive Arsenal injury news doesn’t end with Thomas Partey either.

There is also good vibes coming out surrounding the return of Gabriel Jesus, who hasn’t played a match since the World Cup.

The Brazilian has scored six goals in his 20 appearances for Arsenal, before taking to the treatment table with a knee injury.

Mikel Arteta said: “He’s progressing really well, he’s doing more and more on the field and the knee is not reacting, so really positive.

“We want to have him as quick as possible, but respect as well a little bit the timeframe we got from the doctors and the specialists. But he’s really pushing the boundaries right now.”

Arsenal got back to winning ways in their last game with a 3-2 away win at Villa. However, prior to that victory the Gunners were winless in four, so the welcome return of both Partey and Jesus will be a big shot in the arm in getting their Premier League title challenge back on track.
