The January transfer window is fast approaching for Premier League clubs. Thomas Partey’s future is set to be one talking point this window.
With Declan Rice arriving for a big fee in the summer, Partey’s future was immediately questioned. Adding to that, Partey has suffered with injuries this season, meaning he has only made four Premier League appearances this season. His latest injury is his eighth injury setback since joining in 2021/22.

He has lots of experience at the top of European football and is a Ghanian international. The midfielder is expected to jet off to the Ivory Coast for the Africa Cup of Nations, as long as he returns from injury in time.
Serie A side, Juventus, have reportedly held talks with the player’s agents ahead of a potential move in January. A move to the Italian giants would be an attractive prospect to any player.
It’s a move that makes sense for Juventus as well, with Paul Pogba facing a lengthy ban following doping offences, the Arsenal man can cover the void left by him.
Partey will also be an attractive prospect for Saudi clubs. Saudi Pro League clubs didn’t hold back in the summer when it came to taking big talent away from Europe. With Partey’s future in doubt at Arsenal, he might be tempted to join the Saudi revolution.
