Football fans on Twitter/X have reacted hilariously to a clip of Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger twisting Alvaro Morata’s nipple in the Madrid derby last night.
Real Madrid Vs Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid took on Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final at the Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last night.
Los Blancos defender Antonio Rudiger was heavily involved in the game throughout, bookmarking both sides of the opening 90 minutes with a goal in the 20th minute to put Real Madrid ahead and an own goal in the 78th minute to give Atletico Madrid the lead.
Aside from that, goals from Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal, Mario Hermoso and Antione Griezmann, who became Atletico’s all-time top scorer in the process, saw the game finish 3-3 in 90 minutes, meaning extra time was necessary.
Goals from Joselu and Brahim Diaz in the 116th and 122nd minute respectively saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side run out 5-3 winners on the night.
As a result, Real Madrid, who currently sit top of La Liga, booked their place in the Super Cup final in place of their bitter rivals, where they will face either Osasuna or Barcelona on Sunday, January 14.
Rudiger And Morata
As if scoring a goal and an own goal wasn’t enough for Rudiger, a bizarre clip has emerged of the former Chelsea defender doing something that wouldn’t be out of place on the school playground.
In the clip, Rudiger can be seen grabbing Atletico striker Alvaro Morata’s nipple and twisting it, before the Spaniard reacts angrily and pushes him off.
Rudiger has been knownto be a bit of a loose cannon throughout his football career, but surely this is taking it too far now?!
Fans on Twitter/X have reacted hilariously to the German’s strange decision, which you can see below.
