Losing in an unrelenting title race may have affected this young group of players, but with it comes a wealth of experience that they will hope to take into this coming season. With an even more refined squad now ready to challenge for the Premier League, we are taking a look at the best Arsenal FPL players to include in your Fantasy teams this year.

Best Arsenal FPL Players 2023/24

Ben White (£5.5m)

For player who was brought in to play as a central defender, Ben White’s adaptability was on full show last season as he deputised at right-back.

It now looks as if he has cemented that spot in Mikel Arteta’s carefully curated system, and although he may not look like a conventional modern full-back, he has a varied skillset that makes him an unsung hero in this Arsenal team.

The 25-year-old chipped in with two goals and five assists last season, which is coupled with 14 clean sheets across his 38 appearances.

He finished with the most FPL points for Arsenal when taking Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard out of the equation, tallying 156.

Although there is an increased threat to his starting berth with the arrival of Jurrien Timber, it would be an unjust decision to drop him given his performances last season, and he is the perfect accompaniment to Bukayo Saka on the right-hand side.

Martin Odegaard (£8.5m)

If it hadn’t been for Erling Haaland’s record breaking season in front of goal, many believe his compatriot Martin Odegaard may have been a shoe-in for Player of the Year.

The Arsenal captain seemed to relish his new-found role as leader, tip-toeing and dancing his way 15 goals and eight assists as he continued to blossom into a hugely effective midfielder.

At this price point, it is hard to find a midfielder who represents the point-to-price value that the Norwegian holds. He finished fourth in the overall standing for FPL points last term, just 60 behind eventual winner Erling Haaland.

Bukayo Saka (£8.5m)

This list would not be complete without Arsenal’s “starboy” Bukayo Saka.

It is easy to forget that he is just 21 given the amount of responsibility he has had to shoulder over the past few years. He has displayed a maturity well beyond his years in some very high pressure situations, and last year was his most effective yet as he clocked in with 26 goal contributions.

202 FPL points means he finished as the sixth-highest in the Premier League, and providing he remains injury-free he is a dead-cert for many FPL managers. For context, he was the second-most picked player in Fantasy last year, and at just £8.5m we think he is somewhat of a bargain.

Gabriel Martinelli (£8m)

£8m for Arsenal’s joint-top scorer in the league last year? Yes please.

Arsenal attacking impetus is perhaps best personified by Gabriel Martinelli, who is rarely spotted standing still.

Again it is easy to forget how young he is given the major role he played in almost getting the Gunners across the line last year, and he finished just four points behind Saka on FPL points with 198.

He is absolutely worth including at this price given their favourable run at the start – they face Nottingham Forest in their first fixture, a game he opened the scoring in back in October of last year.

Gabriel (£5m)

We round off our best Arsenal FPL players with undoubtedly the bargain of the lot.

Gabriel played the full 90 minutes in all but two of Arsenal’s 38 league fixtures last term, missing out on just nine minutes of action.

His reliability as a guaranteed starter is backed up by Arsenal’s commendable defensive record; they conceded the joint-second least in the league while keeping 14 clean sheets.

The Brazilian also chipped in with three goals and represents a decent a goal threat with an xG of just over five from last season, and he was behind only to Kieran Tripper and Ben White in terms of most FPL points scored by a defender.
