Details surrounding a special Arsenal retro clothing collection have been leaked, and it is claimed that Adidas will revert to a classic badge for the design.

Football purists in the United Kingdom and beyond love a retro design to their beloved clubs’ kits, and none more so than Arsenal who have released plenty of classic designs and remakes of old iconic jerseys over the years.

If reports are to be believed, Gunners fans have even more retro clothing to be excited for as Footy Headlines have leaked that Adidas will be releasing a special Arsenal retro collection in the new year.

Footy Headlines, who are known for leaking the latest and newest football kits well in advance of any other publication, claim that the ‘Adidas Arsenal retro 2024 collection’ will feature the old Adidas Trefoil logo, as well as a classic club crest.

The outlet has revealed that the collection will include various items of clothing, including a jacket, t-shirt and pants, however it is unknown at this moment whether it will feature a kit remake.

Gunners fans will have to wait a lengthy spell to get their hands on the gear though, as it is claimed that Adidas won’t be releasing the collection until November 2024 – an early one to add to next year’s Christmas list.

What Kits Will Inspire The Collection?

Arsenal were sponsored by Adidas between 1986 and 1994, a period in which they won the English First Division (now the Premier League) on two occasions in 1988/89 and 1990/91.

During this time, iconic figures such as Paul Merson, Tony Adams, Alan Smith, Lee Dixon and David Seaman donned the Gunners’ red – so could these kits from the former glory days inspire the new collection?
