Roberto De Zerbi has transitioned Brighton into one of the best teams in England, earning the Seagulls a spot in the Europa League. But how much does he earn?
Roberto De Zerbi Success With Brighton
Brighton appointed De Zerbi back in September 2022, after Graham Potter left the Amex to take the reigns at Chelsea and the Italian has worked wonders on the south coast.
Finishing sixth in the Premier League last season, De Zerbi brought European football to Brighton for the first time in the clubs’ history.
Improving players like Moises Caicedo, Levi Colwill and Alexis Mac Allister, the former Sassuolo manager has made a huge profit for the club – selling Caicedo for over £100m.
Under De Zerbi, Brighton have picked up wins over Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, whilst also reaching the FA Cup semi final last season.
Roberto De Zerbi Net Worth
Roberto De Zerbi has an estimated worth of around £5 million, generating a huge value during his managerial jobs for Darfo Boario, Foggia, Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo, Shakhtar Donetsk and Brighton.
His time in Italy was his most notable, spending just under three years with Sassuolo and cementing them as a top side in Serie A – playing an attractive style of football.
His move to Ukraine was cut short due to the ongoing conflict and Potter’s exit left a vacant spot for De Zerbi to take in Brighton.
Roberto De Zerbi Salary At Brighton
The Italian earns a reported salary of £2 million, as Brighton manager and his contract includes a unique feature, where the termination of the deal will earn De Zerbi £11.5 million.
This is the same amount that Graham Potter was reportedly earning at helm of Brighton, before he received a a whopping £10m salary at Chelsea.
His contract with Shakhtar was also rather lucrative, earning an annual salary of £1.5 million and becoming one of the highest paid mangers in the leagues history.
His current deal on the south coast runs out in 2026 and De Zerbi has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs, including the Manchester United job.
