La Liga giants Real Madrid are planning a huge summer signing with Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka being the Spanish club’s number one transfer target.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation on the right-wing this season, putting fans on the edge of their seats at The Emirates. Saka was involved in 18 goals in the Premier League last season as the Gunners were edged out of the final top four place by bitter rivals Tottenham.
However, this season has been an entirely different story with the North London side sitting top of the Premier League due to the likes of Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey and William Saliba playing at an elevated level. England international Saka has performed incredibly and raised his game, scoring seven goals and getting seven assists in 19 Premier League appearances.
Saka’s sublime displays have put himself in contention for PFA Player Of The Year, with most UK betting sites giving him a 12/1 chance.

Real Madrid have clearly been observing and are keen to act on this, according to Spanish outlet Nacional. The reports claim that Carlo Ancelotti has asked for the best of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Saka is the player they are most interested in.
Coming back from an individually successful World Cup, the Three Lions star is expected to be a vital player for Arsenal in the final few months of the season. However, his long-term future is slightly up in the air, with his current contract set to expire in 2024.
This is not the first time Los Blancos have been linked with Saka as the report also claims ‘Real Madrid can try to take him away from Arsenal, who would ask for a minimum of £50m for their star.’ However, that transfer fee may have to increase after Saka’s mesmerising form this year.
