The former Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been in scinitilating form since joining Los Blancos in the summer and as a result has been priced at 8/11 to be awarded the Ballon d’Or at some point during his career, according to Sportslens.

Having scored 13 goals in 13 games since joining the club, Bellingham was awarded the Kopa Trophy at last night’s Ballon d’Or event in Paris, which recognises the world’s best player aged under 21.

Bellingham saw off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala, Barcelona pair Gavi and Pedri and Real Marid team-mate Eduardo Camavinga, and will now be looking to follow in the footsteps of last night’s Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi.
