Real Madrid are reportedly keen on Chelsea star, Kai Havertz, as Los Blancos prepare for the possible departure of Karim Benzema.
Carlo Ancelotti could be made surplus to requirements following a poor season in the Spanish capital, as his side were unable to retain their Champions League and La Liga throne.
Fierce rivals, Barcelona, topped La Liga for the majority of the campaign and finished 11 points above Ancelotti’s men.
Performances in European competition have been vital for the club over recent years, winning a record 14 Champions League trophies.
However, the La Liga giants fell short in the Champions League semi-final, as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City demolished Madrid 5-1 across both legs.
With Ancelotti’s future unclear and players, such as Karim Benzema, being rumoured to leave the club, Madrid are preparing for an influx of talent this summer.

Jude Bellingham’s arrival is set to be confirmed in the coming days, and possibly joining the England international in Spain is Chelsea star, Kai Havertz.
The German international has endured a difficult campaign in the Premier League, as his Chelsea side finished 12th and suffered a record amount of league defeats.
Scoring nine goals in 47 matches this season, Havertz struggled to find the form that Blues fans had become accustomed to over recent years and his future in England is unclear.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer huge money for Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, who has been valued at £120m – a fee that may deter potential suitors.
With the club looking at possible attacking additions, and the return of Romelu Lukaku, the 23-year-old could be set for a summer exit and Real Madrid are eyeing-up the former Bayer Leverkusen forward.
