Rafa Benitez is an early market favourite in the latest next Leicester City manager odds, after Brendan Rodgers was sacked on Sunday afternoon. After a run of six Premier League games without a win, Rodgers has left his role as the Foxes manager after four years in charge.

Leicester lost to Crystal Palace in the last kick of the game on Saturday, as Jean-Phillipe Mateta’s strike left the Foxes in the relegation zone.
It was Leicester’s fifth loss in six league games, and it proved to be costly for the Northern Irishman. Reportedly talks between Foxes bosses and Rodgers took place on Sunday morning when it was agreed it was best for all parties that he leaves his role with immediate effect.
First-team coaches Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell will take charge of the team when they face Aston Villa on Tuesday evening, in a must-win game for the Foxes.
Rodgers led this Leicester side to consecutive fifth-placed finishes in 2020 and 2021, narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification on both occasions. He also won Leicester the FA Cup for the first time in their history two years ago. Youri Tielemans scored an iconic goal from distance to win the game.
