MUSKOKA (system – Emma Lavelle, handicap hurdle debut, top two finish last time out)
Emma Lavelle has a good record with runners making their handicap hurdle debut on the back of a win or runner-up effort, scoring with 17 of the 72 qualifiers this century (23.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £46.00 to a £1 level stake at SP. MUSKOKA’s four half-siblings to make the track all won between two and six times and the six-year-old, runner-up at Hereford last time, looks set to go well. I’ve saved on ROYAL JEWEL.
DUNDALK 2.00
UNTERBERG (system – New Bay handicappers, top three finish last time out)
Progeny of New Bay tend to hold their form well and simply backing the handicappers who finished in the top three on their latest outing would have found 86 winners from 305 bets (28.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £124.35 to a £1 level stake at SP. UNTERBERG, who finished a close-up third over today’s course and distance on his penultimate start, went two places better over 1m4f here on his latest assignment and can follow up.
KEMPTON 7.00
KINTARO (system – Iffraaj, Kempton, 1m3f+)
Progeny of the sire Iffraaj do well over 1m3f or further on Kempton’s Polytrack, landing 18 of their 101 starts in the past ten years for a profit of £48.20 to a £1 level stake at SP. KINTARO didn’t show a huge amount on his stable/all-weather debut at Lingfield earlier this month but that run would have been needed and he’s worth chancing at a very big price (33-1 at the time of writing).
