GETBAZOUTOFHERE (system – Gentlewave, chases)
Progeny of the sire Gentlewave are doing well over fences so far, landing 26 of their 126 starts (20.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £34.08 to a £1 level stake at SP. Tom Gretton’s GETBAZOUTOFHERE is a 13-race maiden but ran a pleasing race on her chase debut at Leicester last month, going down by less than seven lengths in fourth place, and can be backed to get off the mark.
KEMPTON 5.30
CALUMET (system – Calyx, all-weather)
Progeny of the sire Calyx have a 28 from 138 record (20.3% strike-rate) for a profit of £111.31 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 20.22, A/E = 1.38). On the all-weather only the score is 12 from 46 for a profit of £117.22. CALUMET, trained by in-form Marco Botti, was short-headed over course and distance when 9-2 for his recent debut and can get off the mark.
KEMPTON 6.00
LADY BANCROFT (system – Amo Racing newcomers)
Owners Amo Racing have a fine record in Britain and Ireland with racecourse debutants, scoring with 40 of the 179 qualifiers (22.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £39.98 to a £1 level stake at SP. Ralph Beckett, the trainer of LADY BANCROFT, is two from seven on this angle (+£1.75) and the daughter of No Nay Never is bred to appreciate Kempton’s Polytrack.
