Juvenile progeny of the sire New Bay have a solid record on turf when given a trip of at least 7f, landing 46 of their 205 starts (22.4% strike-rate) in Britain and Ireland for a profit of £31.36 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 29.66, A/E = 1.55). Charlie Johnston’s newcomer HIGH SEASON looks nicely drawn in stall 4 and is a sporting selection to upset odds-on favourite Stanhope Gardens.
KEMPTON 7.30
AL MUDHAFFAR (system – Charlie Fellowes, stable switchers, handicaps only)
Charlie Fellowes has a 15 from 86 record (17.4% strike-rate) at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards and those who ran in handicaps were 13 from 65 (20%) for a profit of £20.73. AL MUDHAFFAR, a Polytrack winner for Joseph O’Brien, could be worth chancing when he makes his stable in this 1m handicap.
