Progeny of the sire Mehmas have a useful record in nurseries on the all-weather, landing 23 of their 126 starts (18.3% strike-rate) for a profit of £84.54 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 15.66, A/E = 1.47). On Polytrack only the score is 16 from 66 (24.2%) for a profit of £109.46 to a £1 level stake at SP and ELLOMATE, poorly drawn when fourth on the turf here last time, will appreciate the change of surface and could improve for the first-time cheekpieces. Only seven of the sire’s representatives have run in Polytrack nurseries in cheekpieces and they recorded form figures of 2131331 (3-7).

NEXT SECOND (system – Hot Streak, 5f, Tapeta or Fibresand)
Progeny of Hot Streak have a solid record over the minimum trip on the all-weather, especially if we knock out the runs on Polytrack. NEXT SECOND’s 10-1 course and distance success on July 8th took the score to 29 winners from 162 bets (17.9% strike-rate) for a profit of £118.46 to a £1 level stake at SP and Ruth Carr’s mare can follow up.
