INVINCIBLE LARNE (system – Invincible Spirit, first-time tongue-tie)
INVINCIBLE LARNE hasn’t won since December 2021 but will appreciate the cut back to 6f after a respectable 22-1 fourth in a 7f claimer here last time. The first-time tongue-tie could help on his debut for new connections as Progeny of his sire, Invincible Spirit, are 37 from 203 (18.2% strike-rate) in this headgear for a profit of £55.66 to a £1 level stake at SP.

THE CALTONIAN (Linda Perratt, all-weather)
Since the start of last year, Lind Perratt’s all-weather runners have a 17 from 58 record for a profit of £67.35 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those who had raced at least twice in the past three months were 17 from 46 for a profit of £79.35. She has several qualifiers at Newcastle tonight, including THE CALTONIAN, whose record since blinkered reads 1123211 (4-7), with the defeats by three-quarters of a length or less.
