FORTUITOUS FAVOUR (system – Anthony Honeyball, first run in a handicap hurdle)
Anthony Honeyball’s handicap hurdle debutants have a 29 from 114 record (25.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £83.83 to a £1 level stake at SP. FORTUITOUS FAVOUR hasn’t shown a huge amount since landing a Wetherby bumper on her racecourse debut two years ago but the switch to handicap company could bring about improvement and she’s worth chancing to small stakes.

MOREGINPLEASE wasn’t helped by challenging on the ‘dead’ rail at Lingfield last time where he did well to finish third. That was his all-weather debut and the switch to Tapeta could suit. Backing progeny of his sire Time Test over 1m or further on Tapeta would have found 11 winners from 75 runners (14.7%) for a huge profit of £166.78 to a £1 level stake at SP.
