HABRDI (system – Jane Chapple-Hyam, last-time out winners)
Since the beginning of 2015, Jane Chapple-Hyam has a 39 from 164 record (23.8% strike-rate) with last-time out winners and backing them all would have returned a profit of £60.83 to a £1 level stake at SP. HABRDI was beaten on his debut for the yard at Newmarket last October but is three from three since, bolting up at Chelmsford last time, albeit in a Class 4 handicap. He steps up to Listed level today but comes on second best on Proform’s last-time out seeped figures and is unlikely to be disgraced.
WINCANTON 4.05
GUIVINEC (system – Anthony Honeyball, handicap hurdle debutants)
Anthony Honeyball has a good record with his handicap hurdle debutants, scoring with 29 of the 116 qualifiers for a profit of £81.63 to the usual £1 level stake at SP. GUIVINEC, winner of a point-to-point last spring, hasn’t shown much over hurdles but might do better now switched to handicap company.
