LINGFIELD 4.10
ELOGIO (system – Tom Lacey, handicap hurdles)
Tom Lacey has a fine record in handicap hurdles, scoring with 125 of his 569 runners (22%) for a profit of £141.73 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 94.81, A/E = 1.32). ELOGIO hasn’t always looked straightforward but came good at Wetherby on his most recent outing, clocking a good time in the process, and can follow-up in the new headgear.
CHELMSFORD 6.15
SEATTLE TIME (system – Jack Jones, all-weather handicaps)
Jack Jones is doing well in all-weather handicaps, especially at the lower end of the class spectrum. Backing his runners in Class 6 all-weather handicaps would have found 17 winners from 61 bets for a profit of £54.23 and SEATTLE TIME, one of two qualifiers for the yard in this 0-65 affair (the other is TOP BUTTON), could be worth a small interest on his stable debut.
CHELMSFORD 6.45
MAYSAN (system – Low-drawn Lingfield all-weather winners next time out)
It’s not easy to win around the inside of the track on Lingfield’s all-weather surface, putting those drawn low at a disadvantage. Those who win from low draws often follow up and, since the beginning of 2019, backing low-drawn (stall 1 or 2) Lingfield all-weather winners on their next outing would have found 97 winners from 348 bets (27.9% strike-rate) for a profit of £77.46 to a £1 level stake at SP. MAYSAN , successful from stall 2 of 9 at Lingfield on his latest outing, remains open to improvement over today’s 1m trip and can go in again.
