Young progeny (aged seven or less) of the sire Malinas have a solid record in jumps handicaps, landing 130 of their 716 (18.2%) for a profit of £80.83 to a £1 level stake at SP. BALLYQUIN BAY has made the frame at 16-1 and 7-1 on his last two handicap outings and the six-year-old might be able to reward each-way support again.

Since the spring of 2016, horses who won despite being described as ‘race freely’ had a 34 from 110 record when bidding to follow up (30.9% strike-rate) for a profit of £54.27 to the usual £1 stake.
