Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Kempton is the sole surviving meeting in Britain/Ireland on Wednesday (January 3rd) where Andrew has one recommended trade and a multiple-bet option for fixed odds punters. Andrew is taking a short break and his next column will be on Saturday (January 6th). Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

KEMPTON JOCKEYS

DAVID PROBERT has a good book of rides at Kempton Park this evening, the sole surviving fixture in Britain/Ireland. The in-form pilot is on WREN HOUSE in the 5.30 and though beating only a couple home on her debut at Newbury back in July, Andrew Balding’s filly was prominent in the betting, was probably unsuited by the soft going and didn’t last home after racing keenly. The daughter of Kingman will learn from that and the switch to Polytrack should suit on breeding. GOLDKIT (6.00) was only eighth of 13 here last time but was ridden patiently in a race run to suit those on the front end and the 20-1 shot was having his first start back following a wind operation and a 245-day break. The first-time blinkers go on tonight, a positive statistical angle for the Paul & Oliver Cole yard. Huge Palmer’s CAST NO SHADOW (7.00) is well drawn ahead of his handicap debut, while GEELONG (7.30) sat too close to the strong early pace here last time, doing really well to finish a one-length third. REVOLUTIONISE has form figures in January of 1112272 (3-7), suggesting that he’ll be thereabouts, and RISING FORCE (8.30) can be forgiven his beaten-favourite effort at Chelmsford last time as he was ridden patiently from his stall 12 draw when it paid to be prominent and drawn low (first four finishers drawn 3, 2, 1 and 5 of 12). Buy Probert in the Spreadex Kempton Jockeys market (fixed odds punters can combine his mounts in a multiple bet).

Recommendation: Buy DAVID PROBERT in Kempton Jockeys
