Progeny of the sire Midnight Legend have a good record in first-time cheekpieces headgear, landing 25 of their 159 starts (15.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £37.33 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 16.85, A/E = 1.48). Venetia Williams has only had one previous qualifier on this system – Pink Legend who won at odds of 11-2 – and perhaps ELEANOR BOB can maintain her 100% record.

Since the beginning of 2010, Karl Burke has an 18 from 72 record with his all-weather runners who were having their second career start and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £112.53 to a £1 level stake at SP. ORCHARD PARK was a big drifter when making her debut in a 5f maiden here recently but the 14-1 shot performed with great credit after missing a beat at the start, finishing a two-length third to 6-5 favourite/stablemate Indicate, himself a qualifier on this system.
