Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the afternoon Flat meetings at Beverley and Nottingham for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, July 16th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

NOTTINGHAM 3.15

There’s a biblical amount of rain forecast to fall at Nottingham on Tuesday morning but if the meeting does survive, I want to side with TOOTA in this 6f nursery. Tim Easterby’s filly ran a cracker on her handicap debut at Pontefract last time, going down by a neck in third after challenging late/wide when it paid to race prominently towards the inside rail. His trainer won this race last year with Chat Up Line who also ran well in a first-time hood in that same Pontefract contest, finishing fourth. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back TOOTA in Nottingham 3.15

BEVERLEY 3.30

RISE HALL reportedly doesn’t like to have other horses around him, and two of his three wins came when plotting a very wide course. Geoff Oldroyd’s veteran was off the track for over two years prior to his 100-1 last-of-16 effort in Class 2 company at York last May and has taken time to rediscover his old spark. Last month’s 33-1 fourth of 11 in a Class 5 handicap at Doncaster – his first turf outing for almost a year – was a step in the right direction and he should get room in this 1m2f Class 6 contest, as they’ll be strung out like washing in the closing stages given the very soft conditions. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way at a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back RISE HALL in Beverley 3.30
