Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Market Rasen and Southwell (AW) for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, January 9th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

MARKET RASEN 1.10

Paddy Brennan has a good record in hurdles/bumpers at Market Rasen, scoring on 30 of his 128 rides (23.4%) since 2015 for a profit of £32.77 to a £1 level stake at SP. On good to soft or softer going only, when the late/wide route – Brennan’s trademark riding style – is usually favoured, his record is nine from 36 for a profit of £41.25. SHELIKESTHELIGHTS disappointed at Wincanton on her reappearance but that was her first run since a wind operation, and it was probably needed. Faster ground would have been preferable but if her jockey can sniff out the quickest part of the track she should go close at least. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back SHELIKESTHELIGHTS in Market Rasen 1.10

SOUTHWELL 7.00

MISTY GREY has a good record in handicaps on Tapeta, recording form figures of 11114 (4-5), with the defeat excusable as he blew the start in first-time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton last month. The headgear is left off for this 7f Class 2 handicap and the seven-year-old should be suited by the track. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back MISTY GREY in Southwell 7.00
