Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Chelmsford (all-weather) and Ffos Las for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, August 6th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

CHELMSFORD 5.47

ROGER HENRY did well to finish second by a neck in a 1m2f apprentice handicap at Newcastle last time as he raced prominently under Taylor Fisher when it was a big advantage to come from off the pace. The winner (“held up in rear”), third (“midfield”) and fourth (“Held up in last”) were all ridden patiently, and he was more than three lengths clear of the next prominent racer to cross the finishing line. Gay Kelleway’s four-year-old was a soft-ground winner at Beverley on his penultimate start and is well darwn towards the inside. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ROGER HENRY in Chelmsford 5.47

FFOS LAS 5.20

MUJID could only finish fourth in a seven-runner handicap over 1m6f here last time but the small field didn’t suit and he has a significantly greater chance of encountering the required strong pace today. There are three regular front-runners in opposition – PENALTY SHOOTOUT, KNIGHT TEMPLAR and THE PUG as well as a couple of runners in first-time headgear, who might be ridden more prominently than usual. Joe Tickle’s nine-year-old won’t be inconvenienced by the return to 1m4f and his course record stands at 31314 (2-5). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back MUJID in Ffos Las 5.20
