Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew bids to end the week on a high with two recommended bets/trades at Ayr and Chelmsford on Saturday, July 7th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

CHELSMFORD 2.10

George Scott’s PRINCE MAXI bombed out at Sandown last time, beating only one home when 10-1 for a ten-runner 1m2f handicap on good to firm going, but that was his first run for eight weeks and first since a gelding operation and it was probably needed. The son of Sea The Stars has yet to race on Polytrack but has a win and a runner-up effort to his name from two starts on Wolverhampton’s Tapeta surface and the return to synthetics could bring about improvement. His up-and-coming trainer is 32 from 118 with his geldings in all-weather handicaps (27.1% strike-rate) for a profit of £28.71 to a £1 level stake at SP and the step up to 1m5f could be another catalyst for improvement. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back PRINCE MAXI in Chelmsford 2.10

AYR 4.45

POL ROGER impressed me when finishing second of 16 at York last time as the ground (officially good to soft) was slower than he prefers and he’s much happier in small fields. The Michael Dods-trained four-year-old has form figures in fields of eight or fewer runners of 117311 (4-6), improving to 11 (2-2) at Ayr only. He faces competition for the lead but that was also the case when he scored here twice in May and, if anything, having another rival to spur him on from an early stage seemed to suit him. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back Pol Roger in Ayr 4.45
