Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the jumps meeting at Uttoxeter for his two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, July 28th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
UTTOXETER 2.55
HANG IN THERE tends to perform best in the warmer months, recording form figures from May to November of U116661212721111P125311521 (12-26) for a profit of £17.48 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 7.61, A/E = 1.58). The two runs that came at Uttoxeter produced two wins (17-2 and 6-4) and he’s 0-7 outside of this period (form figures of 5F62942). The ten-year-old won comfortably over track and trip last time, despite the ground being slower than preferred, and can defy top weight this afternoon. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
UTTOXETER 3.55
UPTHEREFORTHINKING was a nine-race maiden when trained in Ireland, but new handler Jake Thomas Coulson does well at the first time of asking with horses he takes over from other yards and he’s worth chancing in this 2m4f maiden hurdle. Backing stable switchers for this yard would have returned a huge profit of £204.50 to a £1 level stake at SP and though the strike-rate is low (six from 49) plenty of the beaten horses ran well, often at big prices, with a 150-1 runner-up the highlight. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back UPTHEREFORTHINKING in Uttoxeter 3.55
