Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew bids to end the week on a high with two recommended bets/trades at Southwell and Kelso on Sunday, February 18th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

SOUTHWELL 4.00

Donald McCain’s SEA GREY won well in first-time cheekpieces at Catterick last time, but Southwell’s fixed brush-style hurdles are a different proposition altogether and the odds-on favourite could prove vulnerable. His trainer doesn’t have the greatest record over obstacles at the Nottinghamshire venue, with just three of his 100 chasers/hurdles scoring since 2013 for a loss of £69.50 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 11.76, A/E = 0.26). Of the 100 qualifiers, 12 wee last-time out winners and all of them lost. Sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose SEA GREY in Southwell 4.00

MUSSELBURGH JOCKEYS

Trainer Evan Williams is a rare visitor to Musselburgh, scoring with four of his six runners in the past 15 years for a profit of £8.60 to £1 level stake at SP. He has five runners today and, with three ridden by his daughter ISOBEL WILLIAMS, it could be worth buying her performance index with Spreadex. FRANKIE FAULKNER has been nibbled at in the betting this morning (2.15), while BALKARDY (2.45) will appreciate the switch to a right-handed track after jumping out to his right when third at Ffos Las on his latest assignment. HONEY I’M GOOD completes the trio (3.20). The mare has been struggling of late, but the change of jockey could suit, as Isobel Williams has form figures of 31142 (2-5) on her when doing the steering.

Recommendation: Back ISOBEL WILLIAMS in Musselburgh Jockeys
