Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew ends the week with a pair of recommended bets/trades at Southwell and Leicester on Sunday, December 3rd. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
SOUTHWELL 12.40
There’s a Jumpers’ Bumpers meeting at SOUTHWELL today and these races are notoriously tricky for punters to negotiate, often throwing up shock results. Since 2013, backing every runner in these contests would have returned a huge profit of almost £900 at exchange starting price and it could pay to steer away from the head of the market. Buying Staring Prices with Spreadex is one potential angle but the race I’m most interested in is the mares’ open at 12.40 in which KARMAN LINE, a daughter of Universal, is bred to appreciate the switch to Tapeta. Billy Aprahamian has gone to the trouble of booking Harry Cobden and his filly hinted at ability when sixth at Fakenham on her recent debut. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take an each-way price.
Recommendation: Back KARMAN LINE in Southwell 12.40
LEICESTER 1.15
MY GRANNY LILY improved for going handicapping last season, finishing a 100-1 third of nine over 2m5f at Ludlow and making the frame in all four subsequent starts. She put in an especially noteworthy performance when fourth at Warwick on last month’s comeback, doing best of those to race up with the early gallop. She also took the inside route on the slowest ground, whereas the trip who beat her all raced very wide. |Nigel’s Hawke’s five-year-old remains a maiden after eight starts but could get loose on the lead and will again be hard to kick out of place contention. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back her each-way in the fixed odds betting.
Recommendation: Back MY GRANNY LILY in Leicester 1.15
