Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Punchestown and Haydock where he has two recommended bets/trades on Saturday, November 25th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

PUNCHESTOWN 1.23

FLOORING PORTER’s chase debut success at Cheltenham’s October meeting was given a timely boost when runner-up BROADWAY BOY bolted up by 20 lengths in Listed company last week and Gavin Cromwell’s eight-year-old is sure to be popular in the Grade 2 Florida Pearl Novice Chase at Punchestown today. However, the switch from a left-handed to a right-handed track is a major worry, as his record when racing in this direction stands at two wins from ten starts, as opposed to six from 15 left-handed. The son of Yeats latest right-handed outing came here at Punchestown in the 2021 Champion Stayers Hurdle when he was pulled up (100-30 favourite) after jumping and hanging to his left. His two wins this way round came when outclassing his opponents in handicap hurdles off marks of 105 and 122 (he was subsequently rated as high as 164) and if he jumps out to his left on his first right-handed chase outing, he’s going to struggle. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose FLOORING PORTER in Punchestown 1.23

HAYDOCK 3.00

BRAVEMANSGAME understandably heads the betting for the Betfair Chase and form figures over obstacles from October to February of 21111111112 (9-11) suggest he should go close at least. However, he was beaten into second place at odds of 10-11 at Wetherby on his return to action last month and this race does smack of afterthought (the original plan was to head straight to the King George). Last year’s impressive winner PROTEKTORAT disappointed in the Cotswold Chase before his Gold Cup fifth and it’s likely that Cheltenham is not his track despite two wins there at a lowish level. Dan Skelton’s eight-year-old has form figures in Grade 1, 2 or 3 company (including Graded handicaps) at Cheltenham of 5302345 (0-7) and is best judged on his non-Cheltenham chase record of 1221141 (4-7). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back PROTEKTORAT in Haydock 3.00
