Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the Flat action at Sandown and York for his two recommended bets/trades on Saturday, June 15th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

SANDOWN JOCKEYS

NEIL CALLAN’s four rides could produce a winner or two at Sandown today and he rates a buy in the Spreadex SANDOWN JOCKEYS market (alternatively, combine his mounts in a multiple bet). Callan can get a flyer with course expert DUAL IDENTITY (2.05), whose last four runs at the Esher venue have produced form figures of 1211 (3-4), with the defeat by three-quarters of a length when a 14-1 shot. The forecast rain will aid his cause. DESPERATE DAN (3.50) will improve for his debut effort at Newbury last month and is not without hope of a podium finish in the 1m2f maiden, while ROYAL VELVET (4.25) looks interesting in the 1m fillies’ handicap. Twice a winner on the all-weather, she was only seventh of 13 at Newmarket on last month’s turf debut but her patient style made life very difficult, and she actually did third best of those to come from off the pace. The patiently-ridden fourth and eighth have both won since and Royal Velvet herself can be forgiven her subsequent Goodwood fifth as the drop to 7f in a slowly-run contest didn’t suit. BASHFUL BOY (5.00), fit from a jumps campaign, finished fourth at 100-1 to The Shunter in the Cambridgeshire when last seen on the Flat and runs of the same mark today.

Recommendation: Buy NEIL CALLAN in Sandown Jockeys

YORK 5.20

TRILBY’s stall 1 draw proved a big disadvantage when he finished sixth of 21 over course and distance last time, doing second best of those berthed in single digits (first three drawn 15, 18 and 12). That race was run in a fast time and the fifth, Jenever, gave the form a timely boost when landing a big-field handicap at Sandown yesterday. Sam England’s four-year-old would prefer soft or heavy going but it should be slow enough for him and, on yesterday’s evidence, he’s nicely drawn in stall 16 of 22. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way at a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back TRILBY in York 5.20
