Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew found winners MAGISTRATO and BRAVE NATION from his two recommended bets/trades on Friday and has three more at Sandown on Saturday, July 6th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

SANDOWN 3.35

I walked the track after racing at Sandown last night and I’m expecting the inside of the round course to ride slower this afternoon, giving those who challenge late and wide an advantage. The obvious value play against favourite CITY OF TROY (40-43) in the Coral-Eclipse is DANCING GEMINI (9-12), who simply didn’t stay when an 8-1 sixth of 16 in the Derby. Roger Teal’s son of Camelot was unlucky not to win the French 2000 Guineas on his penultimate start and there could be improvement to come now running over 1m2f for the first time. He has made the running in the past but has been ridden patiently the last twice and, hopefully, Kieran Shoemark will track wide from stall 6 of 8. Buy at 12 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way at 10-1.

Recommendation: Back DANCING GEMINI in Sandown 3.35

SANDOWN 2.25

Another who could benefit from the likely track bias on the round course at Sandown this afternoon is MAGIC MEMORIES, for whom the ground has come right in the 1m handicap. Gary & Josh Moore’s four-year-old won well on soft ground at Yarmouth last time and came late when runner-up to DUAL IDENTITY over course and distance on his penultimate start. Hayley Turner, on board for the first time, will surely play him late and several of his rivals will be inconvenienced by the soft conditions. Buy at 12 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way at 15-2.

Recommendation: Back MAGIC MEMORIES in Sandown 2.25

SANDOWN DOUBLE DRAW

If I’m right about the wide route being favoured at Sandown then a small buy of DOUBLE DRAW at 90 with Spreadex could be warranted. SPANISH BLAZE (stall 8), the favourite for the opening 7f handicap, could get us off to a flyer, while SOPRANO (stall 9) holds obvious claims in the 3.00. CITY OF DREAM (stall 8) is going to be hard to beat in the big race (3.35), while SWEET REWARD (13) and PERSICA (12) are on my shortlist for the finale (4.47).

Recommendation: Buy DOUBLE DRAW at Sandown
