Andrew made a good profit with both his trades on Friday and has three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, April 20th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

NEWBURY 3.50

ECONOMICS ran a lovely race on his debut at Newmarket last November, finishing just under four lengths back in fourth of 13 when 11-1 for a 7f heavy-ground novice contest win by Zoum Zoum. The winner followed up in Listed company at Saint Cloud and is favourite for today’s Group 3 Greenham Stakes, runner-up Kikkuli scored at Newmarket earlier this week and 28-1-1 third Balmacara scored at Doncaster on his return to action last month. The form looks rock solid, and Economics can get off the mark under Tom Marquand. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ECONOMICS in Newbury 3.50

THIRSK 6.05

Grant Tuer has a fine record with fillies/mares in handicap company, regardless of whether they’re taking on male rivals or not. He’s scored with 23 of the 114 qualifiers since the beginning of 2019 for a profit of £26.77 to a £1 level stake at SP. MERSEA showed a willing attitude to score at Southwell last time and looks well drawn in stall 13 of 13. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back MERSEA in Thirsk 6.05

THIRSK 7.40

On the evidence of Thirsk’s opening fixture, we want to be drawn high in this 6f handicap and ONE FOR THE LADIES (stall 19 of 20) looks to hold obvious claims. Michael & David Easterby’s six-year-old is a 12-race maiden on turf but has made the frame on five occasions, including when second best of the nearside group behind stablemate King Of The Jungle in an apprentice handicap at Catterick last time. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ONE FOR THE LADIES in Thirsk 7.40
